What Happens When You Call
We start by asking what prompted the call. Maybe retirement is a few years out, a business sale is on the horizon, or you just want a second look at your portfolio. You don't need a polished answer. A sentence or two is plenty, and nobody will push a product on you over the phone.
From there we find a time for an introductory meeting. In that conversation we go deeper into your goals, explain how we work and what our services cover, from financial planning to legacy planning, and outline what a next step could look like. If it isn't the right fit, we'll say so plainly. Many people reach out before anything feels pressing, and that early start usually gives a long-term plan the most room to work.
Helpful to Have Ready Before You Call
- A rough idea of your goals, such as a retirement date, college costs or passing wealth on to family.
- A general sense of the accounts you hold, like a 401(k), IRA, brokerage account or life insurance policy.
- Any big change coming up, such as selling a business, an inheritance or a move.
